I’m Brook Abebe.I study how African cities, institutions, and knowledge systems work, and why they fail. Through essays, books, urban projects, and digital platforms, I build practical frameworks for understanding and improving complex systems.My work sits at the intersection of urbanism, institutional development, knowledge production, and technology. Some ideas become essays. Others become books, planning projects, or software platforms. Each explores the same question: how can Africa build stronger systems that endure?
